Ideas for Using Printable Halloween Decorations & Stencils
Halloween Decoration Ideas

Thanks to the internet and printable Halloween decorations, getting prepared for the most exciting holiday of the year is a breeze! So, just what do you do with these paper items once you print them? Well, that depends on just how creative you want to be!

Some printable decorations will already be in color but if you don't want to use up your color cartridge in your printer, there are plenty that offer just the outline. Then you can paint them, color with pencils or markers and add glitter or anything else you want to use.

  • Window Decor – Print bats, moons and witches riding brooms and color them black. Poke a hole in the top to hang them with string and then connect them to the curtain rod so they hang at different lengths in the window.

  • Cupcake Toppers – Use small printable Halloween pictures as cupcake toppers by gluing them to a piece of a Popsicle stick after you color them. Pretty much any pattern you want to use will look great! If you want the cupcakes to look superb from every angle, glue the Popsicle stick in between two like patterns.

  • Invitations – Are you hosting a Halloween party? You'll find patterns that would be ideal to use as invitations.

  • Flags and Banners – Print out several of the same decorations and either staple or string them together to create a large banner that can be hung anywhere.

  • Table Settings – Whether you want to create place mats or standing table tents that you can write the name of your guests on, there are plenty of printable Halloween designs you should find handy.

  • Candy and Chocolate Wrappers – Are you making your own candy or do you simply want to make the chocolate bars you're handing out look more festive? Why not use Halloween printouts for candy wrappers?

  • Party Favors – Gift bags, name tags, party hats and paper jewelry can all be made for a kids Halloween party.

  • Pictures – A really easy way to get your home ready for Halloween is to replace photos in all your frames with Halloween decorations. You can even just slide the paper over the photo and then remove it when the season's over.

Printable Halloween decorations make it really easy for anyone to prepare for the holiday without spending a lot of money or having to squeeze in time to get to the store.
